The Cairngorms Trust Projects Celebration

The Cairngorms Trust is hosting its second annual event to celebrate the variety of projects it has supported on Wednesday 15 May at Victoria & Albert Halls, Ballater, between 1.30pm - 4.00pm. The projects will share what they have achieved and what they included in their funding application to be successful in securing funds to implement their vision. Nancy Chambers, Trust Manager will also share about future funds to look out for and an update on the future vision for the Cairngorms Trust. The event is open to all projects supported by the Trust, supporters, fundraisers and communities. Book here.


Net Zero - Climate Cafe, Birnam Arts Centre

Join GrowBiz on 21 May, 11:00 - 13:00, at a Climate Cafe in Birnam to talk about how we can all manage the impacts of climate change on our businesses. Joining will be Jess Pepper, who founded the climate cafe movement. This informal gathering provides the opportunity to chat over a cup of coffee and discuss anything and everything, from how to think about climate change and opportunities it presents, as well as the challenges and ways to tackle these. Come along to share experiences—both good and bad—of taking action, however big or small. This event is funded by SSE Renewables for rural businesses in Perth and Kinross. Book here.


East Dunbartonshire Business Growth Grant

This discretionary grant of up to £1,500 is to help business in the area cover the costs incurred in meeting its growth plan targets. This plan must be prepared by the business owner and a Business Gateway East Dunbartonshire business adviser. You'll need to cover any costs upfront, then submit a claim with evidence of your expenses. Find out more here.


Inverness Chamber Trade Mission to Ireland

Inverness Chamber of Commerce is inviting applications from Scottish businesses to participate in their upcoming physical trade mission to Dublin, Ireland, on w/c 11 November 2024. It’s been planned give businesses the opportunity to explore a new market and showcase what Scotland has to offer. There’s a fee of £150 + VAT for businesses that wish to join. Find out more here.


SEED Updates

The GrowBiz SEED webpage has been updated with an expanded offering and additional details. SEED provides support for young people aged 18-30 in Perth and Kinross who’d like to start or grow a business. Take a look here.


Aquila Wildlife & Nature CIC Launch Event

Join Perth & Kinross Enterprise Group members Aquila Wildlife & Nature on 5 May at Sandison Hall, St Fillans, for an exciting launch day celebrating wildlife and nature. Ask them about the new venture, look around the display materials and take part in free activities throughout the day, from 5am and into the night! Activities on the day will include bird and wildflower walks, workshops, and a talk from Tom Bowser of Argaty Red Kites during the evening reception. Refreshments will be available.
