Regional Action Plans

Regional Action Plans (RAPs) are how we co-ordinate the implementation of Smart Villages across Scotland, rolling out the national Action Plan at local levels.

Each plan is developed via a Collaborative Group Document, and assembles a tailored configuration of Best Practices in response to the specific needs of that region.

This formulates an action plan that blends together tourism marketing, entrepreneurship programs, digital skills training and so forth, co-developed in partnership with the relevant organizations in those fields in each region.

A key goal is to link Smart Village pilot projects to relevant government policy programs, such as ‘Digital Districts’.

This will be a key theme we’ll explore in our campaign for Cupar in Fife.
